Atlanta Falcons DE Steven Means will miss the 2019 season after suffering a non-contact achilles injury in Monday’s OTA practice.
Means signed with Atlanta early in the 2018 season and played in eight games with four starts. He finished the season with 14 tackles (seven solo), three tackles for loss and one sack.
What this means for the Falcons: Well the defensive end squad will still rest on the success of Vic Beasley, Tak McKinley, and Adrian Clayborn. This will affect depth but shouldn’t be too much of a game changer.
We wish the best for Means and wish him a speedy recovery.
